[I STARTED WRITING A TAG AND THEN REFRESHED NO.
anyway wow! hello! it seems that the town did not get much better but the horrors persist so so must they. it's a little after the point of time where everyone's found out their items are in boxes in the swamp, and aerith is currently walking through the town to get another lay of the land. she's dressed in her regular clothes again, hair pulled back in its braid and hands clasped behind her as she looks around. is she looking around for other people just to make sure they're all there? perhaps so.
karlach is definitely hard to miss though, but at the same time aerith feels like she's pretty easy to approach. so she bounds forward, peering up at her with a little smile.]

The only way we'll really know is by talking to them more. If they're stuck, too, we should try to help them. But if it turns out they really did choose this on their own...better to know that, too.

Yeah. There was this Grove, right? Full of druids. And a goblin camp nearby, and some tieflings who got displaced from their home. The Hells ate it, took it all in on itself.

So they were running from the goblins, and the druids wanted to kick the tieflings out, but me and my friends? We took out the goblins like nothing. Made it safe for the tieflings to keep traveling.
They hung out at our camp and it felt so fucking good to see them happy. Because of us. Because of something we did.

[this is so cute? like even the beating the shit out of goblins part, because while aerith doesn't always like to fight when it's unnecessary she does have enough experience fighting monsters to know sometimes you just have to. more than anything, it's very cute to see the way karlach's happy with doing something good to help someone else.]
