[this is the funniest nickname for aerith specifically, but she doesn't seem to mind? it's nicer than some of the other things she's been called tbh. it means she just laughs about it, coming to a stop in front of her and rocking back and forth on her heels a little bit.]

Yup! The box had almost everything I expected, even if getting it back didn't seem easy. [she says this but somehow she does not look like she's been in the swamp recently. or attacked by leeches.] But it is a little concerning they just appeared like that.

[cloud about had an aneurysm when she said it earlier, so that's fair. it has a bit of jokey tone to it, though - they talked about laws in the sense of like, i command you to make a law to let me go, so. tongue in cheek.

also i hope she made cloud get in and get it for her.]

Yeah, it is, isn't it. Like hey, here you go, you've been good for twenty four hours, have some clothes we took from you in the first place on us.

Like a reward system? [huh. she hadn't thought about that and now that she is she's not sure that's something she's happy thinking about.] Or a bribe..."if you play along, you'll get more." Kinda makes you wonder what would have happened if things had gone differently yesterday.

Either, really. Baddies are good at dangling the carrot. [huff.] Think they would've punished us somehow? I'm already feeling the chained feeling, except I can't see what I'm attached to.

Maybe. We're at a little bit of a disadvantage not knowing what to expect or what we're here for. [though she pauses at the mention of the chained feeling because...hm. her hands are clasped, coming up to the chest as if in prayer while she ruminates on that.]

...I thought maybe I was imagining it. [sometimes you're used to being able to hear a planet, and then you come here and you can't, and then something else shows up.] But it isn't always there, right? Sometimes it disappears.

Comes and goes. [she agrees, tail swaying back and forth.] Or, I think it's just that I don't notice it all the time. It's unnerving.

There is a lot happening right now for all of us. It isn't too surprising that something like that becomes a little less noticeable while we're finding our footing here. [but she still doesn't sound, like, happy about that. unnerving is a good word for it.]

I'm guessing it's not just going to go away, so we'll find out eventually.

Hopefully sooner than later...it'd be pretty bad if we ignored it too long and it was too late to do anything about it. But even if it's not going to go away, we'll just have to find a way to manage it.
