[here she is, in her default outfit, looking down into her box. her tail is going back and forth in agitation... what's in the box...]

[ WAMAN... yeah izutsumi is also in her default clothes, staring down curiously at the box with an idle flick of her own tail. ]

What d'ya find?

[she startles a bit, but - izutsumi gets to see that there is just a whole-ass heart in the box. it's real! fleshy and limp and starting to decompose.]

Uhhhh.

WEEK 0, MONDAY.

[nyas]

[ we are at the refractory THIS IS NOT THE SPELLING BUT I CAN'T BE ASSED TO CHECK. anyways, she's in the middle of plucking out all the veggies from her meal off to the side. disgusting, gross.

she also looks clearly like she's in a bad mood, based on her tail lashing WILDLY and ears are pinned back. but she does peek curiously when she sees karlach, her other hand tugging her red scarf up a bit higher. ]

..Food ain't that good. [ that doesn't seem like the main reason for her mood. ]

[here we are at the refractory period

okay, first of all, no veggies is a mood, you go girl. second of all, being a tail-haver herself, karlach's pretty familiar with tail body language so she gets that too. karlach thinks she can guess maybe why izutsumi's pissed.

she comes over to sit, pointedly not looking at whatever words might be around - though her own are pretty visible. AVERNUS, in big white letters.]

It's awful, isn't it? I'd kill for some kind of juicy steak or something.

[ izutsumi is unfortunately nosey, so she will glance at any visible words, but she at least doesn't pointedly ask. words start to creep up on her furred hands, various ones like "CURSED, CAGED, TRAPPED."

she pushes her plate a little away, mostly to cross her arms and hide said hands under them now. ]

I'd kill for any good meat in general. Instead we're stuck with this and this stupid sacrifice. [ grumbling, huffing with another lash of her tail, ears pinning back. ] As if I wasn't already cursed with a monster before all of this. Who do these mages think they are?

w1, MONDAY

[how is it only week one

anyway, hello, she's on the beach today! she's a little less cheerful than normal, but it's not like it was yesterday, at least. she's standing with her feet in the waves, tail swaying back and forth. she's probably wearing a sundress, actually, i'm too lazy to go look for one just assume it's something nice and beachy.

she waves at izutsumi with her not-fucked up hand. hello!! she will come out of the water if you want to hang out.]

ALSO, help.... while izutsumi seems to be walking nearby the beach, she's notably not very close to it. because she is staring at the water like it killed her whole family or something. but i'm so happy for karlach's cute fit izutsumi is boring and wears the same thing as always. :pensive:

[help she kind of expected this, honestly, which is why she comes out of the waves and makes her way up the beach.]

[sleepily out here hanging out near one of the houses... when she sees izutsumi, she waves and holds out her hands? do you want a nap place. she's just chilling.]

[ when i say she does the cat thing of just coming right on over and flopping right on top of her, yeah. not a full on bodily flop but she does just flop over. ]

[i'm losing it she welcomes this! she makes room, even, nice and warm.]

About as good as I can get. I was going to ask you the same, but nothing seems to ruin your mood much.

WEEK 2, TUESDAY.

there's a pause, after this one, and then karlach gives her a little bit of a smile.]

[ she's such a precious dork, taking care of her fwiends... even though the word has her ears turn back, tail flicking with what sounds like off-handed huffiness but. it's very light, not offended or at all harsh. ]

Not really, just a party I've been traveling with for a while.

WEEK 4, WEDNESDAY.

Walked around, so only saw them in passing. But some of them looked easy to beat! So I wanna try my hand at it.

WEEK 5, MONDAY.

anyway, she comes to flop down next to her, squinting at the phone.]

Satoru took pictures with his a lot. I think you can talk to people through them? Like a Sending spell.

Talk to people? ..Guess people would use teleportation scrolls to talk to someone elsewhere if they really needed to.

[ at least that much she is familiar with but not much else. she is head empty. ] Pictures are like... paintings, right? Images of people on a tiny screen.

[ now fiddling to try and find this PICTURES function. they can have costco hotdogs to munch on as they fiddle with phones. i forsee silly accidental selfies in their future. ]

WEEK 5, THURS POST-CYOA.

[ hospital time, i wish izutsumi could go wandering around but she's still temporarily blind and is probably sitting outside of her room waiting. probably for Aventurine to take her to the penthouse next but in the meantime her ears twitch and her head turns in the direction of Karlach.

[hewwo... she is not doing great because we are all out here DETOXING but she'll come to izutsumi, making sure her footsteps are loud.]

[she's all bandaged and stuff and mostly healed but izutsumi can't see so that doesn't matter.]

[well today happened

karlach can be found in elysium... she's poking around Eden, the tea garden, looking at the flowers and just absently picking them. sorting them, too. she's humming to herself, tapping her foot.]

[ so much happened on today that ends with day. izutsumi is mostly exploring until catching sight of her ]
