I heard Iwatooshi's name bandied about as a suspect for Ichiban. I suppose - every interaction I had with him since, he has seemed like his ordinary self. Kind and patient as he always was. So I would be surprised, I suppose, if it was true.
I didn't notice anything amiss, either. It would be too strange if a vicious monster could disguise themselves that purposefully. All I've heard talk of is that the other poncho fit him and that he had many bruises on him.
