... When I took a step back from wielding the blade myself, per se, Rondo was the one who insisted on stepping forward. Asa came up with the idea to use the item reward to return Camille to life - a very kind and generous idea and one we all agreed would be acceptable. I do trust Rondo, he has a good heart and insists he will use the item to return Camille, but I have been the one confronted about the plan and ... now I am in a position where if that does not come to pass I will be made to partake of a helping of crow pie.
It is not as if I do not understand the dilemma. I too had to push past the urge to use the item for myself, and now Rondo is faced with a similar question. To use it for Camille, or to use it on someone who seems to mean a great deal to him.
Again, he has said he fully intends to use it for our agreed upon purpose. But I understand temptation.
His whole thing is to avoid temptation, you know. He's the most insistent person here about doing good and keeping his word, I don't think you'll need to worry. [...] He'll use it on Camille. You all promised. Doesn't matter how much he cared about Marina.
But that means the rest of us have got to find something for all of them. She's not the only one that deserves to come back.
