[she uses his hand that she is still holding onto to punch himself in the tiddy. stop that.]
You don't deserve to die because you made one mistake. End of story.
[insistently. a pause.]
Anyway. None of that matters. Maybe you're not Gale from my book, but you're still Gale, and you're still part of our ragtag team of dipshits, and I'm not going to let anything happen to you.
anyway he has a whole argument about how he'd probably actually agree if it was one mistake instead of a long series of progressively worse mistakes, but he doesn't want to be punched again. so. he'll pick up the argument later.]
For now let us consider we are all in deeply confusing and unknown circumstances, and that we might all perish horrible anyway?
Gee. Uplifting as usual. [she says, rolling her eyes.] I don't even know what we're doing here. Usually the bad guy comes out and monologues at us for an hour by now.
[she lets go of him finally, for now, and then snortlaughs.]
Oh, Gods. That's too many tentacles. [like if this is also a mind flayer invasion at some point you really have to look at yourself and go am i the problem] I'll take you up on that one, but I'm guessing instead of Mind Flayers, it's dragons. A whole alliance of them.
